Explosion accidents usually exist in the process of storage, transportation and production of explosive substances, so electrical equipments used in hazardous occasions must take special and effective preventive approaches to avoid them becoming the source of ignition.
At present, the explosion-proof methods applicable to fields are: Flame-proof (Ex d), Increased Safety (Ex e), Intrinsic Safe (Ex i), N Type (Ex n, only in zone 2) and Encapsulation (Ex m). Among them, Intrinsic Safe and Flame-proof are the most widely used and these two explosion-proof certificates are what Jiwei mainly targets of.
