Rada-11 pulse radar level meter is a 5.8 GHz low-frequency pulse radar level meter with an integrated rod antenna. Thanks to the hermetical design of the microwave transmitting antenna, the product is with strong interference resistance and suitable for applications where steam, vapor, condensation, and crystallization can easily occur, and applications with a stirrer or under very corrosive environment.
In Rada-11 pulse radar level meter, microstrip design is employed based on the high frequency waveguide theory and an internal generated 5.8GHz microwave pulse signal is transmitted from the end of an antenna. When the transmitted pulse hit the surface of the measured medium, it is partially reflected back and received by the same antenna. A special time expanding technique is used to produce a time expanded signal which contains the information of the time interval between transmitted pulse and received pulse. The distance between the antenna and the surface of the measured medium is then calculated as a result.
