Flap-11Px Lined Magnetic Level Indicator

The chamber is made of 304 stainless steel lined with PTFE for strong corrosive liquid level measurement. It has been typically applied as follow:

 Level measurement for brine tanks, the caustic circulation tank, the brine de-chlorination tower, the chlorate decomposition tank, the ultra-pure hydrochloric acid storage tank in a membrane electrolysis apparatus.

 Level measurement for storage tanks for liquid chlorine or bromine water.

 Level measurement for ammonia storage tanks.

 Liquid level monitor for the monomer tank at a PVC manufacturing plant.

 Magnetic switch and remote transmitter have all passed SIL2 / SIL3 Functional Safety Assessment, as well as certified for both Intrinsic Safety and Flameproof Enclosure explosion protection.

  • Flap-11Px Lined Magnetic Level Indicator is designed with unique lining techniques. The lining junction between chamber and process connecting flange is well fit to effectively avoid lining crack due to the stress during assembly and prevent instrument from corrosion damage caused by medium leakage. Jiwei has developed innovative technologies, introduced full production process management and test for Flap-11Px to improve its reliability and quality. 3 patents are applied on Flap-11Px. One invention patent (application NO.201710919511.7) is under verification and 2 utility patents (patent NO. 201621028672.4 and NO.201721282291.3) are authorized. Flap-11Px is mainly used for strong corrosive liquids. It is widely applied in chemical industry, oil refining, storage and transportation, water treatment, etc.


    Flap-11Px Lined Magnetic Level Indicator comes with F4 (PTFE)/F46 (FEP) lined chamber for selection. F4 (PTFE) lined chamber is suitable for majority strong corrosive liquids, while F46 (FEP) lined chamber is suitable for strong corrosive liquids with good permeability, such as liquid chlorine, bromine water.


  • Flap-11 Magnetic Level Indicator series products are designed based on the law of equilibrium in U connected vessels and magnetic coupling effect to achieve real-time level measurements and display. As liquid level in the vessel varies up or down, magnetic float in the connected chamber rises or falls simultaneously. Because of magnetic coupling effect, float with a permanent magnet actuates magnetic interacted flaps in the display panel which is mounted beside chamber. Associated flaps will flip 180 degree to indicate liquid level. The front and back surface of flaps are coated with two colors respectively (red and white). Generally, when liquid level rises, the magnetic float moves up and makes associated magnetic flaps flip from white to red, and when liquid level drops, associated magnetic flaps flip from red to white. The interface between red and white flaps is the actual indicated liquid level inside the vessel. According to different chemical properties of measured medium, appropriate materials should be selected carefully for the chamber and the magnetic float. In addition, the weight, volume and structure of magnetic float have to be taken into consideration according to different density of measured liquid in order to achieve optimal measuring accuracy.


  •  With unique design and lining technology between chamber and process connection flange, effectively avoid lining crack due to the stress during assembly and prevents instrument from corrosion damage caused by medium leakage.

     Display panel with broader design, greatly increases visual distance and viewing angle. With larger sharp scale and digits, display panel appears beautiful and elegant outlook.

     Exceeds national Ingress Protection standard IP54, Ingress Protection rating IP65 and IP66/67 are selectable for different applications.

     Provides F4/F46 lined chamber manufactured with multiple patented lining techniques, suitable for broader range of corrosive liquids level measurement.

     F4 (PTFE) lining can be applied for majority of strong corrosive liquids.

     F46 (FEP) lining can be applied for strong corrosive liquids with good permeability, such as liquid chlorine, bromine water.

     Magnetic switch and remote transmitter have all passed SIL2 / SIL3 Functional Safety Assessment, as well as certified for both Intrinsic Safety and Flameproof Enclosure explosion protection.
