  • The Jiwei Tube-11 Vibration Rod Level Switch with Suspension Cable is a rod level switch with a cable extension for solids. With the suspension cable, the Vibrating Rod Level Switch can be applied in tall and narrow silos, even in oscillating environments, particularly suitable for the sediment measurement in liquid.


    In industrial settings, heavy material build-up and mechanical stresses are a challenge for any level switch. This is not a problem for Tube-11: The flexible suspension cable avoids material abrasion and mechanical strain caused by movement of the bulk solid and reliably alarms against overfilling.




  • Theextension probe of Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switch is designed with double vibration rods. The inner vibration rod nests with the outer vibration rod. When resonant frequency of inner and outer vibration rods is finely adjusted to the same value, both reliability and sensitivity of the Vibrating Rod Level Switch are at extremely high level. Theinnovative developed technology enables the sensor to detect fine-grained solids with density as low as 0.02 g/cm³. The piezoelectric devices are utilized for vibration drive and detection. When vibration frequency of the inner and the outer vibration rod is finely adjusted to the same value, it results in the resonance of both inner and outer vibration rods. Until the vibration rod comes into contact with application medium, resonant frequency of the outer vibration rod will change, therefore destroying the resonant condition. Vibration amplitude of the probe will substantially decrease. The output signal from piezoelectric detection device will also decrease accordingly. An integrated electronic circuit is designed to analyze the amount of decrease and output a switch signal.

     High sensitivity thanks to the fine adjustment on the resonant vibration frequency; suitable for virtually all applications in granular bulk solids. Theinnovative developed technology enables the sensor to detect fine-grained solids with density as low as 0.02 g/cm³.
     An industry leading product that can tolerate high process temperature up to 250℃, and ultra-high temperature up to 400℃(Water/air cooling).

    Note: ① Maximum applicable particle size is 20mm, in this case, medium density must be lower than 0.05g/cm³.
               ② Cover exhaust nozzle with whistle from instrument accessories and position the whistle such that whistle's internal wall at its vent side is tightly attached to the external wall of exhaust nozzle, slowly increase the flow of cooling air until whistle blows up. This is when cooling air is at the expected minimum flow.

    ① The problem of medium buildup has been successfully solved due to a larger redundancy.

    ②  The fluctuation of humidity results in an unstable dielectric constant of the mixture of CaSO₄ and CaSO₃, but Jiwei Tube-11 Vibrating Level Switch could provide a reliable measurement in this situation because the measurement is independent of dielectric constant.

     Environment friendly fuel tank in combustion system at power plant.

    The density of sawdust or straw is as low as 0.1g /cm3, which is out of range for most of level switches on the market. However, Jiwei Tube-11 successfully provided a reliable result in this situation, while Tube-11 can work reliably for medium density as low as 0.02g/cm3.

     Electrostatic precipitator bag, ash hopper and conveying pump in ash transport system at power plant.

    The probe of Tube-11 is only 125mm long, significantly reduces the impact area from filling material and prevents the probe from impact damage.

     Alumina silo.

    Alumina particles are lumpy, and extreme working conditions of strong magnetic field and harsh ambient. Alumina silo has high requirements for level measuring instruments, Jiwei Vibrating Rod Level Switches are able to offer maximum reliability.
